We are a group of individuals from a variety of 12 Step fellowships, who come together to support each other's meditation practice and explore the role of meditation in 12 Step recovery.
Our meeting is a place where each of us can practice silent, sitting meditation in any tradition or method that they choose, surrounded and supported by others with the same goal.
While we support newcomers and strive to learn from each other, this group does not teach meditation. We are non-sectarian and do not represent any specific religion or spiritual tradition.
We start with a thirty-minute period of silent sitting meditation. We follow that with a reading, and then sharing on the topic of the day.
Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:30pm in the library at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 326 S. Segoe Road, Madison 53705. The library is to your left as you come in through the Main Entrance. You don't need to contact us before coming to your first meeting. Just show up!
Or attend via Zoom! Email madisonmeditationandrecovery@gmail.com for the Zoom link and password.
Either way, Â there's no required payment. As with all 12 Step programs, donations are entirely voluntary.
